In this paper, we explore the grafting of tetraamines into heterometallic MUV-10. The combination of hard and soft metal centers allows the translocation of tetraamine TETA into the microcages of the MOF. This insertion proceeds by sequential breaking of bonds, resulting in a widening of the pore windows. This new grafting mode endows the material with enhanced stability under humid conditions, a recurrent issue in amine-grafted porous materials.
