Founded in 2021
Capitalized mainly by Funimat team members, PMA is the first Spanish company dedicated to the production and valorization of metal-organic framework (MOF) materials. The company aims to develop and commercialize products, processes and services based on the use of MOF type materials. From PMA we want to democratize the value of MOFs for their integration into technological applications and make them affordable to industry for bringing them closer to society. Overall, we want to take the power of reticular chemistry to where it matters!

Founded in 2018
Some of our patented materials attracted the attention of BeABLE Capital and pushed the creations of MatCO to approach alternative methodologies for the high-scale synthesis of selected MUV materials with optimal cost and reduced environmental impact to facilitate their commercialization. This entrepreneurial platform also facilitated the signature of transfer contracts with technological centers and companies as AIMPLAS – Instituto Tecnológico del Plástico or Decco Worldwide Post-Harvest Holdings BV.
