An alternative mechanism for amine grafting in metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) is illustrated in the cover image and reported by Carlos Martí-Gastaldo et al. in their Research Article (e202402973). The image shows in a Warholian style how the adaptable response of the framework allows the rearrangement of pore windows necessary to enable the translocation and binding of tetraamines inside cavities that would otherwise be inaccessible. This behaviour is activated by the dynamic response of the heterometallic Ti2Ca2 clusters in MUV-10 in the presence of triethylenetetramine molecules.
