Post-doctoral researcher Alechania Mistuini has been awarded the Best Poster Award at MOFSIM 2024, the international workshop on molecular simulation of metal-organic framework materials. The conference brings together experts in computational modeling to advance the design and understanding of MOFs and related porous materials. In her work “Translocation of Triethylenetetramine in MUV-10 Adaptable Cavities”, she employed computational simulations to unravel the diffusion of triethylenetetramine molecules through the adaptable cavities of the MUV-10 framework, providing insights into host–guest interactions and framework flexibility.
