Description: The XtaLAB Synergy-ED enables crystal structure determination from nanometric crystals, overcoming the limitations of conventional X-ray diffraction. This is particularly relevant for molecular and hybrid materials, which are often obtained as micro- or nanocrystalline phases. The availability of cryogenic conditions further allows the study of beam-sensitive and metastable systems, expanding the range of materials that can be structurally characterised under controlled environments.
This instrument is a shared research facility acquired through a competitive infrastructure programme (EQC2024-008382-P) and hosted at the Central Service for Experimental Research Support (SCSIE) of the University of Valencia.
